Dr Roland Nguyen is the director of Dermatology Specialist Clinics. He studied medicine at the University of Sydney and graduated with honours in 1997. Dr Nguyen completed Master of Medical Science at the University of Queensland in 2002 through skin cancer research affiliated with the Queensland Institute of Medical Research. He has Fellowship with the Australasian College of Dermatologists since 2007 and International Membership with the American Academy of Dermatology since 2011.
Dr Nguyen has particular interests in procedural dermatology including skin cancer surgery, scar revision and laser treatments. He also manages medical dermatological conditions such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, hair loss and nail disorders. He is supervising surgical training of trainee dermatologists at Liverpool Hospital. He operates in Day Surgeries at the Skin Hospital (Darlinghurst) and Pittwater Day Surgery (Mona Vale). Dr Nguyen also consults at the Cabramatta Professional Centre, Skin Hospital and Northern Beaches Dermatology.
